Beaches
Location Address Description
Kits Beach Cornwall Ave + Yew St Kits Beach is a long stretch of sandy coastline located in the heart of Vancouver's bohemian Kitsilano neighbourhood. Watch sailboats and windsurfers navigate the waves, join in on a spirited beach volleyball match, or simply spread out your blanket and soak in the rays. For swimming enthusiasts, check out Kits Pool, a world-class salt-water pool over 137m long situated directly on the beach. If you love swimming in the ocean, there are better spots than Kits Beach but if you like people watching, this is your jam.
Third Beach Southwest Stanley Park Stanley Park has a number of beaches but our hands-down favourite is Third Beach, a south-facing stretch of coastline about 10 minutes from English Bay. During the day, Third attracts all kinds of interesting people, from craft beer-swilling hipsters to tourists to the bartender who served you bourbon sours last night. Sidebar, you might see some ladies go "sans top" (Third isn't a nude beach, per se, but some people do go tarps off).
Jericho Beach Point Grey Jericho Beach is a long stretch of coastline that goes for 20 city blocks, with each section having its own distinct flavour and crowd. Come for the sailing, relaxed vibe, awesome swimming and old school concession stands; stay for the jaw-dropping sunsets, late-night beach volleyball games and stunning views of the North Shore Mountains.
Wreck Beach University of British Columbia campus Located on the westerly tip of UBC's campus, Wreck is a nude beach world famous for its counterculture, eclectic crowds and yes, nudity. The actual beach itself is gorgeous, with fine sand, warm water and western sunsets; the real attraction, to be honest, is "the scene" (you'll know what we mean when you get there). While it isn't mandatory to be fully nude, it's frowned upon for clothed people to gawk at locals, so if you do go, embrace the spirit of the beach! Oh, one last pro tip: bring sunscreen, especially if you plan on exposing parts of yourself that haven't seen the sun for a while.

Lululemon Stores

Location Address Description
Robson St 970 Robson St Located in the heart of Vancouver's shopping district, Robson is a large flagship store that opened three summers ago during SeaWheeze 2014. W 4th Ave 2113 W 4 Ave Well known as the first-ever lululemon store, our freshly reopened W 4th Ave has a bohemian charm that makes it truly unique and memorable. Located in Kitsilano on (you guessed it) vibrant W 4th Ave, this location is close to numerous juice bars, yoga studios, coffee shops, Whole Foods and the ocean, making it an ideal destination for healthy living advocates and beach bums alike.
Be Fresh YMCA 955 Burrard St Locally made snacks and meals to fuel your work and play. Pro tip: SeaWheeze runners can come pick up a surprise treat at Be Fresh YMCA on Saturday, August 12.

Oakridge 650 W 41 Ave This location is centrally located in Oakridge Mall, a high-end shopping centre in Vancouver's South Cambie neighbourhood. Oakridge Centre is very easy to access via Vancouver's excellent SkyTrain transportation system, has a ton of fantastic shopping and one of the best food courts in the city (no really—Curry Express is a fast food must for Indian cuisine lovers).
Park Royal 940 Main St, West Vancouver Want to feel like you're in the OC or at The Grove? Vancouver's answer to Californian shopping lies at Park Royal, an outdoor mall located in ritzy West Vancouver. In addition to a large lululemon location, Park Royal features other great stores like Free People, Aritzia and Sephora (and a Winners where it's tough not to find a super shopping score). We also recommend stopping by Faubourg for excellent java and a Parisien-inspired croissant.
Coquitlam 2929 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam At the foot of beautiful Westwood Plateau, this store is located in Coquitlam Centre (approximately 40 minutes away from downtown Vancouver). This store has an incredible community vibe and is located just a short drive away from some awesome hikes and scenic lakes—google "Buntzen Lake" and "Belcarra Park" if you happen to be close by!
Richmond 6551 No. 3 Rd, Richmond lululemon's Richmond location is just a 30-minute drive from downtown Vancouver in Richmond Centre mall. This lovely community is known for its awesome weather (it's a longstanding joke Vancouver joke that it doesn't rain in Richmond), gorgeous gardens and, of course, the fish 'n' chips in Steveston—they are next level delicious.
