Getting Around

Vancouver is best enjoyed on foot, bike or its extensive public transportation network. Here’s the savvy SeaWheezer’s guide to getting around town.

From Vancouver International Airport to downtown Vancouver

If you’re arriving at the airport and staying at a partner hotel downtown, we recommend either grabbing a cab (approximately $35 and 25–35 minutes) or jumping on the Canada Line train ($9 per person). With multiple quick stops along the way, the Canada Line starts at the airport and ends at Waterfront Station (just east of the Vancouver Convention Centre) in about 25 minutes.

If you’re staying downtown at one of our partner hotels, you’ll be a short walk to the start line at the Vancouver Convention Centre. If you’re staying further afield jump on either the Canada Line train, which runs north–south through downtown, or the Skytrain, which runs east-west.
