YES! There will be SeaWheeze exclusive runners’ shorts as part of your registration, which we will send out to you in Spring 2014.
SeaWheeze WeekendI am coming in from out of town. What will the temperature be like that weekend?
August in Vancouver is unbeatable (at least that’s our opinion). The average temperature is 17˚C (That’s 63˚F for our American friends). It will be chilly in the early morning so you may want to layer up.
We are busy securing great partner hotels and will release them in line with the registration opening.
Yes, however, to ensure everyone’s safety and maximum enjoyment of Vancouver’s setting and the course route, we encourage you to run sans headphones. We promise you won’t want to miss anything that’s happening, anyways…keep those ears open!

Yes to both! We are committed to your hydration and on-course nutrition needs so will have plenty of aid stations and water stations along the route.
Of course! We will have bathrooms located with every aid station along the course.
TrainingWhat is lululemon providing us as a training program?
We will have a brand new training plan for you in 2014! Look for it in Spring 2014, or download the SeaWheeze app now to get ready.
Certain local lululemon stores will be hosting run clubs to gear up for this event. Check out our store finder, to find your local lululemon. The stores also post great tips on their Facebook pages, so search there to find your store.
The App is one part pocket sized personal trainer, one part DJ and one part Vancouver city guide. The app lets you track your training, share your progress and listen to incredible music to keep you motivated. You can also access live race results and weekend event details – just think of the app as your SeaWheeze concierge. There will be an update coming for the 2014 training.
Download it in the App Store.
Is the app free?
Stay glued to our Facebook page for essential info and feel free to post your questions on Facebook as well. What will help you, will probably help many. In addition, check in with your local store, they are always stoked to support!
VolunteerDo you need event volunteers? Where can I register?
We always need lots of enthusiastic people to make SeaWheeze amazing! Volunteer registration will open in Spring 2014.
Yes. There will be an opportunity to select your shift time and position.
